Sex Toy Review: We-Vibe Verge

Before I start, my apologies to We-Vibe. For this review of their Verge cockring is long overdue in response to their gratitude for my Nude Dude Review of the We-Vibe Nova.

The Verge cockring by We-Vibe is a vibrating cockring primarily meant to stimulate a male-bodied persons perineum (a.k.a. taint) during sex.

To accommodate most bodies for this purpose, the Verge is quite wide, and not as stretchy as its brother cockring from We-Vibe, the Pivot. However, if the person is thick enough, then the Verge may also help with the purpose most cockrings are made for. That purpose being to make the blood flowing into the penis to cause an erection not leave so easily.

The beauty of this cockring is that while it’s marketed primarily to stimulate the perineum, it can be turned and placed in different ways to make it stimulate more than just the taint. It can also stimulate other parts in that area instead of the taint on the wearer, and/or stimulate parts of the sex partner of the wearer.

Let’s look at different ways one can wear a Verge. All of which I have tried with a playmate and can guarantee the pleasure given.

This is the marketed way to wear the We-Vibe Verge:
Worn this way, it stimulates the base of the cock, and since it is so wide, it will rock back and forth during penetration or while the wearer is being ridden by their partner. With each pressure against it from either causing the vibration to hit more against the taint. During deeper penetrations, the wearer's partner may feel the vibration along the upper-half of their vaginal lips or anus, depending on which part and gender is embracing the wearer's member.

Wearing the We-Vibe Verge this way makes it great for both vaginal and anal sex:
For vaginal sex, the wearer will of course feel their chosen vibration around the penis and testicles. Meanwhile, the part shown in the above pic that in the marketed position stimulates the taint would in this case stimulate the clitoris.

Wearing the Verge this way for anal sex will give that same vibration to the crotch while vibrating near the bottom's anus like all of these positions. The addition to using the Verge in this way is that in sexual positions like (or similar to) doggy-style it can stimulate the bottom's ass crack, while in positions like missionary it can stimulate the bottom's taint instead of that of the wearer's.

This last position, like the initial one mentioned, is very much for the wearer's pleasure.
For wearing the Verge this way cups and tickles the wearer's testicles from behind during penetration, or while he's being ridden by his partner.

The We-Vibe Verge is USB rechargeable. It is made of silicone, so it is non-porous, and can be easily cleaned with soap and water or an anti-bacterial cleaner. With that it is also waterproof, so any of the ways to wear it mentioned or that you can think of can also be done in the tub or shower. The Verge also comes with 10 vibration patterns. The intensity of each pattern can be easily controlled by downloading the We-Connect app and syncing the Verge to it. Another plus to using the We-Connect app is that with it, you can create your own vibration pattern.

Like with my playmates, I live by the old saying "variety is the spice of life". With that said, for its variety in vibration patterns, ways in can be worn, and targets of stimulation, if you're not really looking for the traditional purpose for a cockring, then I definitely give a high rating to the We-Vibe Verge.
